NFL 129 Fireman Junior Engineering Vacancy 2018: National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) is a Mini-Ratna, has five gas based Ammonia-Urea plants viz. Nangal & Bathinda Units in Punjab, Panipat Unit in Haryana and two plants at Vijaipur Unit at District Guna in Madhya Pradesh.

One candidate can apply in single discipline in only one Unit of his/her choice as online test shall be conducted on same day for all the positions. Candidate has to invariably declare in his online application form that he has applied for post of Junior Engineering Assistant Grade II in only one discipline and for one Unit only. False declaration shall render the candidate ineligible from recruitment process at any stage.

Part-1 Discipline: 100 questions from mix of course curriculum of qualifying diploma course.
Part-2 Aptitude: 50 Questions form general English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Knowledge/Awareness.

NFL 129 Fireman Junior Engineering Vacancy 2018 Fire discipline
For Fire discipline, candidates must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first-aid, firefighting and must know the elementary principles of firefighting methods employed fighting of different types of fire. They must be conversant with fire and appliance drills and be able to perform the task allotted. Candidates shall be tested on the following qualifying standards in order to adjudge their suitability for the post of Fireman:
1) MINIMUM ENDURANCE TEST PARAMETERS
a. Running a distance of 100 yards with a weight of 60 kilogram in 90 seconds;
b. Lifting the hooks ladder to a vertical position by 3rd and 6th round;
c. Climbing a rope or a vertical pipe to height of 8-10 feet from ground.
2) MINIMUM PHYSICAL STANDARDS
a. Height** (without shoes) – minimum 165 cms;
b. Chest** (unexpanded) – minimum 81 cms;
c. Chest** (expanded) – minimum 85 cms;
d. Weight – minimum 50 kgs.;
e. Eyesight – 6/6 both eyes with or without glasses;
f. Should possess Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence
