How To Apply

Application forms are online. Kindly visit joinindianarmy.nic.in
After submission of application candidates must print two copies of the application print out and the roll number generated by the system.
There is no need to send the hard copy.

Selection Process

1. Only short listed candidate called for interview
2. SSB interview to be held in Two stages
Stage – I: Those who failed in stage-I will be returned on the same day

Medical Examination:
1. There should be good physical & mental health
2. Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cm
3. Relaxation of 5 cm for Gorakhas, Hills of NE, Garhwal, Kumaun
4. 2 cm relaxation – Lakshadweep

Documents for SSB:
One copy of the print out duly signed by the candidate will be carried to the selection center for the SSB Interview.
1. 10th mark sheet and certificate in original
2. 12th mark sheet and certificate in original
3. Id proof in original
4. Two sheets of photocopies of documents
5. 20 Copies of self attested PP Size Photographes

Training:
Basic Military Training: 1 year (OTA Gaya)
Technical Training: 4 years at different centers
