Apply for ISRO Scientist and Technician Vacancy:-
Applications will be registered online only. The on-line recruitment portal will be available from 0900 hours on 12.03.2018 to 1730 hours on 02.04.2018 for registration of application. Interested candidates may visit our web-site www.sac.gov.in OR https://recruitment.sac.gov.in/OSAR for detailed advertisement and flling-up of online application form. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The candidates are also advised to take two printouts of the online application for future reference. For printing ensure that the computer is connected to a printer with A4 size paper and header and footer are removed from page setup. In case printer is not available, you can save the form and print it at your convenience. Please note that site will not be open for printing after 1730 hours of 02.04.2018. Retain one print out of online application summary and other copy is to be submitted along with passport size photograph and documents supporting the data furnished in application at the time of Written Test/Skill Test.

Upon on-line registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. The candidates are also advised to take a printout of the online application for future reference.
The applicant need not send any documents such as print out of online application, copies of certificates/mark lists in proof of educational qualification, work experience, age etc.
Note: In case of submission of duplicate/multiple applications by candidates, the last application submitted before the last date of submission of application shall be considered for further processing.

Selection Process

Selection Process for ISRO Scientist and Technician Vacancy:-
Please note that the qualifcations prescribed above for the post advertised are the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible for written test / skill test (as the case may be). Initial screening will be done based on online data and only Screened-In candidates will be called for further selection process at Ahmedabad
The Written Test will be conducted only for the Screened-In candidates. Based on the written test scores, required no. of candidates alone shall be called for skill test. Written Test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate is tested covering both breadth and depth of the prescribed curriculum. The skill test will be purely on ‘go-no-go’ basis and marks obtained in the skill test will not be considered for selection. The skill test will be evaluated on a 100-point scale with minimum 60% for qualification. From amongst candidates who qualify in the skill test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the written test. In case of a tie in the written scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker.
