Eligibility	1. Candidates must have M.Sc. / M. Tech (any branch of Life Sciences or Bioinformatics) with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade point). Candidates awaiting final results may also apply. However, they have to produce their final mark sheet on the day of the interview, if shortlisted. 2. Candidates must have qualified in CSIR/UGC-JRF or ICMR-JRF or DBT-JRF. They should have a valid fellowship for the full term. They should have qualified in any one of these examinations conducted not earlier than last one year

The eligible candidates may download the application form from ILS website www.ils.res.in and apply with attested copies of Master’s Certificate & mark sheet, Bachelor’s degree certificate & mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate (if any), to The Director, Institute of Life Sciences, Nalco Square, Bhubaneswar – 751 023, India. Mark the envelope as “JRF for DBT project.” Selected candidates will be allowed to register for the Ph.D. program. Incomplete applications and applications without the documents mentioned above will not be considered. Only names of shortlisted candidates will be published on the Institute website, and separate call letter will not be issued. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.

Selection Process

Selection for this post will be based on interview, Shortlisted candidates called for interview.
The decision of the Director regarding the selection of the candidates will be final, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
