Eligibility	B.Sc. with 7 years of experience or B.Tech / B.VSc / M.Sc with 3 years of experience in relevant areas like instrumentation / cell & microbial culture maintenance etc. Desirable Qualifications: (i) Experience of laboratory training focused on complex laboratory techniques, advanced instrumental handling and advanced animal cell culture techniques. (ii) Experience in working in laminar hoods/bio-safety cabinets and performing molecular biology techniques (RT-PCR, Western blotting, gene silencing etc.). (iii) Proficient in handling inverted microscopes, micromanipulation of embryos. (iv) Knowledge of bio-analytical techniques, laboratory safety and quality assurance to support on going and future projects.

NIAB Vacancy 2018

a) Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE through our website www.niab.org.in
b) The candidate needs to register on the website with username and password along with valid email id. Already registered candidates, may login with the existing username and password.
c) Online Application will be available on website www.niab.org.in from 16 February 2018.
d) An application fee, as per the following details, is payable through a crossed Demand Draft drawn on any nationalised bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “National Institute of Animal Biotechnology, Hyderabad” payable at Hyderabad, preferably Punjab National Bank, Gachibowli (Code No.PUNB0498700), Hyderabad.
After online submission, candidates should take a print out of the computer generated application form, paste a recent passport sized photograph and sign on each page of the form & on the photograph.

Selection Process

Mere fulfilling minimum qualifications will not entitle a candidate for being called for interview for the scientist’s position and written test / skill test for Technical Officers positions. The applications will be screened by a Committee and shortlisted candidates appropriate for institutional requirement will be called for interview / written test, as the case may be.. The decision of the Competent Authority will be final in this respect.
