Eligibility	Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or University or Government Research Institution or Autonomous or Statutory Bodya) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or (ii) with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-13 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission (6th CPC- Pay Band-4 of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67.000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 8700/-) or officers with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Level-12 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission (6th CPC – Pay Band-3 of 15,600/- – 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and (b) Possessing the following qualification and experience:- (i) Master’s degree in Science or degree in Engineering from a recognized institute or university or equivalent; and (ii) Twelve (12) years experience in the regular Group-‘A’ posts, not below the rank and pay scale of Level-11 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission (6th CPC – Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600/- – 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-) in Government Department or Institution or Central Public Sector Undertaking or University or Government Research Institution or Autonomous or Statutory body at the administrative or managerial level with practical experience in matters relating to scientific, engineering or management aspects of pollution control; and Desirable: Ph.D. in Science relating to Environment or M.Tech in Engineering in a discipline relating to Environment from a recognized institute or University or equivalent.
Experience	Twelve (12) years experience
Pay Scale	Level -13A, Rs. 1,31,100/- to Rs. 2,16,600/- of the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission. (Pay Band Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 8900/-as per the 6th CPC)

The outstation candidates who will be called for interview shall be reimbursed to and fro economy class air fare or rail fare of 1st AC by train via shortest route on submission of relevant travel documents.
