Eligibility	Masler’s Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation Science from a recognised University or institute
Experience	Two years’ experience on computerisation of a Library or a Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognised University or Institute. OR Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in Pay Band- 2; Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/Department

Applications of the eligible & willing officers, in the prescribed format at AnnexurelI may be forwarded through proper channel, to the Under Secretary (Admn.), Department of Rural Development, Room No. 363, 3rd Floor, G-Wing, Krishi Bhawan, New Dehi within 60 days from the date of publication of this Advt. in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar together with the following: –
a) Vigilance Clearance in respect of the official.
b) Integrity Certificate and statement showing major or minor penalties.
c) ACRs for last 5 years duly attested by a Gazetted Officer
2. The Officers who volunteer for the post will not be permitted to withdraw their names later on. Only such applications, which are accompanied by requisite personal data, as per Annexure-ll and are received through proper channel, will be entertained, who apply for the above post will not be allowed to withdraw their applications subsequently.

Selection Process

1. The eligibility criteria along with other details of the post are given at Annexure-l. The period of deputation will be initially for a period of three years, which can be further extended as per Govt. of India instructions on this subject. The persons selected will be entitled to draw pay in accordance with the DOP&T’s OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Payll) dated 17.06.2010 as amended from to time.
2. While forwarding the application, it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by official are correct. It may also be confirmed that in the event of selection for appointment, the official concerned will be relieved of his duties.
