or - With ten years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the posts in Level-11, Rs. 67700-208700 of pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department;
and - Possessing the following educational qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University;
- Twelve years’ experience in the field of administration including five years experience in finance matters including budget and accounts.

Essential:
Animal Husbandry and Fisheries:- Master’s degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry or Dairy Science or Dairy Technology or Fishery Science from recognized university or institute.
- Twelve Years’ experience in the concerned subject or area of discipline of the post.
Agriculture and Horticulture: - Master’s degree in Agriculture Science with specialization in Agronomy or Plant Breeding or Genetics or Horticulture from a recognized university or institute.
- Twelve Years’ experience in the concerned subject or area of discipline of the post.
Water Management: - Master’ degree in Water Resources or Hydrology or Soil Sciences or Soil and Water Conservation Engineering or Earth Science or Geohydrology or Remote Sensing from a recognized university or institute.
- Twelve years’ experience in the concerned subject or area of discipline of the post.
Forestry: - Master’s degree in Forestry or Wild Life Science from a recognised university or institute.
- Twelve years’ experience in the concerned subject or area of discipline of the post.
Watershed Development or Social Science or Economics: - Master’s Degree in Soil Sciences or Soil and Water Conservation Engineering or Civil Engineering or Sociology or Economics from a recognised university or institute.
- Twelve Years’ experience in the concerned subject or area of discipline of the post.
Desirable: Doctorate Degree in concerned subject or discipline with one year’s experience in handling development programme or schemes in rainfed farming areas.
