AFCAT 2018 Vacancy : AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST (AFCAT)-01/2018/ NCC SPECIAL ENTRY/ METEOROLOGY ENTRY COURSES COMMENCING IN JANUARY 2018

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) has released a recruitment notification for the posts of Short Service Commission (SSC for MEN and WOMEN) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC for MEN) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-technical). Eligibility Criteria: 

• Education Qualification:

(i) For Flying: Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level. Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks.

(ii) For Ground Duty (Technical):  Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks each in Physics and Maths at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post graduation
qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks.

(iii) Ground Duty (Non-Technical):  Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level. Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks.

•  Age:

(i) For Flying:  20 to 24 years, born between 02 January 1995 to 01 January 1999. Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years.

(ii) For Ground Duty (Tech/Non-tech): 20 to 26 years, born between 02 January 1993 to 01 January 1999.

Selection Process of AFCAT 2018 Vacancy: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Computer-based Online Test, Psychological Test, Group Tests and Personal Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 250 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. Candidates with Meteorology Entry and NCC Special Entry don’t have to pay any fee.
